Lord of the Rings extended audio issues

Hi,
I've been using MakeMKV for a few years now and recently decided to rip all my blurays so I can play them via my Jellyfin server.
I also ripped my Lord of the Rings extended blu rays and noticed a strange issue.
When I play the BluRay (e.g. via Leawo) audio seems completely fine. It shows a german and an english surround audio track as well as a few english stereo tracks (director's commentary...).
Audio sounds completely fine that way.
I now wanted to play a ripped version and noticed that all dialogue audio is extremely quiet. At first I thought it was missing completely.
I tried playing different files from the LOTR blurays and they all show two surround tracks per language with 6.1 and 5.1 channels respectively.ยด
All these tracks have barely audible dialogue audio.
I never encountered something like this, any ideas how to rip those discs correctly?
Best regards
