I am going through my collection and these 2 movies are the only ones that have caused a problem so far of about 200 bLu-ray movies. So i guess it rules out the drive and both look and function fine so that would rule out the disks?

Try to clean the disk with water.
This could fix your issue.

Do not confuse playing and ripping discs. Just because it "looks fine" and plays ok does not mean it will rip. A player will skip over any bad sectors on the disc and you may not even notice. When you rip the disc you're performing a bit-for-bit copy of the movie, the option of simply skipping the bad sectors isn't there.
