im having issues with the blu ray edition of this movie failing to rip.


"edit"
the movie gets stuck "Ripping" or flat out fails to do so the timer will increase to 20+ hours to rip. i dont know how to post logs or where they are to be submitted

And you seem to be unwilling to let anyone know what those issues are. Were you expecting people to guess?

The logs are available from your home directory (depends on your operating system), and show the progress through the rip. We would need to see what is happening to tell you what the fix is.

You can post the logs in your message, unless they exceed about 60K in size. But at least a portion of them with error messages would help.

Those indicate read errors, one of which (625668096) was eventually read past, which could be because of the disk being scratched or dirty. Have you tried cleaning the disk? Even "clean, new, never been used" disks can have read issues... trust me, I've encountered them. It's especially an issue with disks that have been in storage (yours, or the store's) for a while.

Normally, such errors would cause the drive to time out a lot sooner than 20 hours. Does the disk continue to spin that long, or power down after a bit?
