how to combine 2 disc movies?

Hi all I have all the lord of the rings extended edition blurays and have ripped them but they are all 2 discs each and have been acting weird in plex so I was wondering if there was an easy way to merge them together maintaining all the subtitles and such?

If you're going to watch them in Plex, Plex has support for multipart movies.
Naming and organizing your Movie files
There's a slight pause as the player switches from one file to the next, but it is easy to use since it only involves getting the files named correctly. For something like
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) which has natural breaks in the film, it works well. For something like LotR, it'll be noticeable for a few seconds during the transition.
