Issue with Playing Blu-ray Discs - Seeking Help

I recently bought a bunch of new Blu-ray discs to enjoy my movie nights, but I've encountered a problem that I can't seem to figure out. When I try to play these Blu-ray discs on my player, some of them are not being recognized or are experiencing playback issues. For a few of the discs, my Blu-ray player doesn't even recognize them. When I insert the disc, it spins for a while and then displays an error message saying "Disc cannot be read." This is happening with both older and brand new Blu-rays, so I don't think it's a disc issue.

Are you certain you're not getting "4K UHD" disks? Most generic Bluray players, unless specifically tagged as 4K, won't read them.
