I have tried to rip the 1993 Super Mario Bros movie on Blu Ray a few times. It is a Region B Blu Ray and as I understand it Make MKV should rip it. The drive tries to recognize it and it takes a minute to go through the process of recognizing it. At the end it says "No Disc". It doesn't recognize that there is a disc. I done some research and can't find an answer. Is it possibly the firmware on my drive?

That usually indicates that the drive itself does not recognize there is a disk inserted. Often, it's a cleaning issue, although I have had disks that were scratched in the "wrong spot" so that they came up as non-disks.
