Home players (including the gaming boxes) tend to 'gloss-over' errors and a lot of the time the human eye doesn't even see them, but MakeMKV will only save a file if there are no errors present so it often finds problems you wouldn't otherwise know exist.
What are the errors you're seeing?
Have you tried cleaning the discs? Sometimes even new discs have a film over them that can produce errors.
Also, certain optical drives read certain discs better than others, do you have a different PC or an external optical drive you can try?
And what kind of history does your hardware have? Are these the first discs you've ever tried or have you ripped hundreds of discs previously?
