Ripping Iso fails

Post by Nachtigaller »

Hi,
I have a disk which gave me a lot of errors trying to rip so I followed this viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15055&start=45 to make an iso file using ddrescue and then this viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17087 to decrypt it but now I always get this error:

Code: Select all

The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00187.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 12288, attempting to work around
Does somebody know how to fix this?

The simplest way is to get an ISO that doesn't have the error.

The problem with ISOs are that some programs that create them will rip right past an error, so you have a problem with the result.

I didn't ran ddrescue completely to the end hoping that 99.3% is enough to get it working and now just wanted to confirm that it's not a problem with my procedure.
I'm just going to give it another shot and maybe it will work.
