How do I fix this

Post by unlawfulspoon69 »

I put the disc into make mkv and do everything I should but the output seams to be 16:9 and the move is 1:35:1 or 3840x1608 how can I get it to be the actual size of the movie and not be 16:9 with the black bars perfectly embedded into the file I don’t what them to be there unless they need to be

If the movie is a UHD disk, it is 3840x2160. It may contain black bands to make it appear to be a different resolution, but the actual movie is at the disk resolution of 3840x2160.

After you extract it, you can process the movie through something such as handbrake, which will eliminate the black bands and give you the "movie resolution", but that's separate from MakeMKV.
