That '70s Show: The volume key is unknown for this disk

Post by rolette »

Trying to rip That '70s Show - The Complete Series blu-rays onto my Plex server. The first 6.5 seasons ripped just fine, but on disk 2 of season 6, I get:

Code: Select all

Using direct disc access mode
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
This disc uses newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it by visiting http://www.makemkv.com/a/?JnZ7np/ShI50r4...
Saved AACS dump file as C:\<homedir>/.MakeMKV/MKB_v62_That_'70s_Show-_Season_Six,_Disc_Two_F296.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc
MakeMKV v1.17.1 [win(x64-release)] running on Windows 11 Pro 21H2 22000.795

I clicked the "please let us know link", so that's done.

AACS dump file is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2drdqk9aoivot ... 6.tgz?dl=0

Email dumps to svq@makemkv.com & read through the UHD FAQ linked below.

Dump emailed to svq@makemkv.com as requested. Not sure what the UHD FAQ has to do with this though. Both the drive and disks are plain jane blu-rays.

Apologies. Bad vision day...old eyes. Reflex upon seeing "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted". Although insuring internet access is enabled, per FAQ, is still a good idea.
