Newb to the forum but not a newb. Have used makemkv a bunch to convert all my movies to HDD.

This is the first movie I have run into problems with. Brand new movie pulled from the box. Its clean and have even cleaned it.
I have tried 3 different drives the issue remains. I get a bunch of errors about invalid or corrupt files.

One drive was able to rip it without reporting fail at the end but if you watch the movie you get a bunch of pixelated artifacts throughout.

Any Ideas?

If it was able to successfully rip, the file should be good.

What playback software are you using?

If you’re using VLC or any Windows built-in software, have you tried other playback software such as mpv or mpc?

You may also want to post specifically which country and version of the release you have, that way someone who has the same release as you might comment.
