File keeps playing after it reaches the timestamp

Post by William Morris »

Hi,

I've ripped off The Dick Van Dyke Show on Blu-ray, and there seems to be an error with the timestamp on some episodes. One episode shows 25:58 on the details pane, but when I play the file, it shows 25:29 as the timestamp, and it keeps playing after it reaches the timestamp. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Thanks!

That depends on what is causing it. One thing that has been mentioned in the past is if the audio track is not the same length as the video track.

I have not seen what you are describing, but I pretty much process everything I rip through handbrake before watching it through, and that would synchronize the track sizes.

Thanks for the reply. I have never seen this problem before either, and I’ve ripped a lot of discs. I’ll use Handbrake to see if it helps.
