'Disc is being loaded' for over 20 minutes...is this normal?

I'm using an external blu-ray drive and trying to load up the disc. It's been loading the disc for awhile now, and I wanted to know if this is normal, or if something is wrong. Thanks in advance!

No, it is not normal, but your drive and operating system are not getting the necessary information to determine that there is a disk to read.
Lots of things can interfere with reading the information on the disk, including dirt. Have you read the "If you're experiencing errors" topic at the top of this forum?

Thanks for replying! I did read through it before posting and tried the solutions, but got nothing. I think it's an issue with my computer, though, because I've just hooked it up to another laptop and it's working fine. Thanks for the reply, I'm good now!
