Home Alone 2 'This disc uses newer version of AACS protection'

I just tried to rip Horne Alone 2 Blu Ray, and got the message 'This disc uses newer version of AACS protection'. I did send the link in to MakeMKV, but it seems odd that a movie that came out in 1992 and the Blu Ray coming out in 2015 (if the copyright 2015 FOX is any indication) would be using a 'new' version of AACS that MakeMKV here in 2020 doesn't know about. Has anyone else seen this?
