I need a key for this region B disc I have already sent a tgz to Mike. I only posted because this is the first time I have ever had to get a key for a Blu-ray.

I also have this issue, I'm not sure if there is anything I can submit that would help, I'm new to this.

Is there any fix for this or is it just a case of waiting until the next version of the programme is released.

Send a dump file to support@makemkv it should be in c drive users makemkv then e mail to support,I'm not the best at explaining but like yourself I'm not the best with computers

and the UHD won't rip either, similar AACS message (see separate thread in the UHD disks section!)

Just submitted my dumps to support also, they normally turn the update around within a day or so.

I mailed support@makemkv.com with the tgz file 3 days ago but have not heard back.

As this title is already known to makemkv, 'key not found' presumably means they're releasing the same title with different keys.

Dumps should be sent to svq@makemkv.com , but Mike should have still gotten yours(?). You won't get personalized response... the disc will just decrypt once the db is updated/downloaded.

& a release can have many keys depending on region, rental/retail, etc..

Historically, a new release of MakeMKV was required when a new AACS version appeared.

LibreDrive can change that IF:

- MakeMKV reports LibreDrive as 'Enabled'.


- 'Allow contacting web server for updates' is checked on the 'General' prefs tab.

- You're are not experiencing any DNS/firewall issues. (An error msg should show if you are unable to download a necessary update).

If you meet all those criteria for LibreDrive, be patient & keep trying disc.

Thank you for the reply and explanation. It's working now.

I'd forgotten that MakeMKV can download from the internet for the latest updates. Network connection added. Problem solved.

In the past, I've always downloaded the latest binary and that's worked for problem titles.
