Any idea why I would get this error on Iron Man 2 Blu Ray?

Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00812.m2ts' at offset '3117545472'

"medium error" = incorrectly manufactured or damaged disc. Return it for a new one.

Hi!

If exchanging the disc hasn't resolved your problem, try using MakeMKV to make a full disc backup and, if successful, then use that full disc backup as your source and try to create a movie-only backup from it, rather than from the original, commercial disc.

I have had this situation, but rarely. Disks that seem to be perfectly clean. Two movies, I just cant get to go.

Cars 2
Iron Man 2

Both Blu-ray. Cars 2... I even purchased a 2nd disk on ebay... had the exact same medium error on the exact same segment. Tried 3 disks total, and about 4 different players, ranging from external USB to various brands of internal.

Same thing now with Iron Man 2.
