Ripping DTS-HD Blu-ray Disc

The music on my disc is in HD 24bit 96k but the rip file is only 16bit 96k. What have I done wrong?
Speculation ... you selected the DTS Core and not the HD track?
Which software/hardware is used for playing the mkv file?
