I cannot rip or Backup the discs i received today. They work fine in a player and on my drive which is a WH14NS40. And for the record its on both Disc 1 and Disc 2. It states AACSv68.

I have several of the "SD on BD" offerings, and the files on them are HUGE. It is literally entire DVD sets, merged into one file, and burned to a BD; 26 episodes in one file for Star Ocean and Elemental Gelade, 51 for Law of Ueki, etc.

That means that any errors while reading that big file will abort the whole thing.

Does MakeMKV actually SAY the backup failed? Do you have debug logging enabled, so that more information is available?
