Shadow (2019) - New Version of AACS

Hi all,

MakeMKV is telling me that my copy of Shadow has a new version of the AACS protection. I've emailed the .tgz dump and I've clicked the link to "let us know" both about a week ago.

Has anyone else had luck with this movie yet?

Hi, out of curiosity, what is the AACS version of this disc? You can find it in the name of the tgz file you sent, MKB_vxx_... where xx is the version. MakeMKV can handle upto version 71 I think.

MKB_v70, interesting...

The only other bits of information I get are the following:

"Using LibreDrive mode (v05 id=62194E19F4EC)"

and
DEBUG: Code 0 at jFJ/sedl|n^h9"'$:29396115
DEBUG: Code 0 at jFJ/sedl|n^h9"'$:213134262

It says the volume key is unknown for that disc; I don't know if that's just a generic message for disks that can't be opened or if it's specific to this disc.

Version 70 of AACS is one of the reasons that v1.14.4 was released, and I know from a recent rip that v1.14.4 can deal with it, and 1.14.3 and earlier cannot. So... What version of MakeMKV are you running?

But if it's using libredrive it's irrelevant. It's just a title key that hasn't been added yet. If you sent the dump to Mike it should get added at some point. Or is that not relevant for bluray?

With LD, you no longer have to deal with key revocation... But you still have the encryption changes. AACS is a two-part affair.
