It's an original and I'll try again and post screen caps, or something. Thank you!Woodstock wrote:Are you trying to open an original BD, or an ISO of a BD?
What other errors did you receive when opening the disk?
Your wish is my command sir.Woodstock wrote:Debug logging is far more valuable than screenshots.
Very strange - AACS v61 isn't the "latest and greatest", so MakeMKV 1.12.x should be able to decode it, assuming it can read the root directory properly.MakeMKV v1.12.0 win(x64-release) started

That's a UHD/AACS2 disc I think, hence the "MKB20".Woodstock wrote: Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\XXXXX/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v61_BBC_Earth_EDE8.tgz
What is the latest and greatest version? I'm trying to rip The Greatest Showman bluray and I'm getting the same error, except it's AACS v63. I don't want to hijack this thread, but it's a coincidence that this thread was started yesterday and I'm having the problem today. I'm curious if the probably is related. This is a "truncated" error log. The only part I cut out was more lines of the illegal request lines.Woodstock wrote: Very strange - AACS v61 isn't the "latest and greatest", so MakeMKV 1.12.x should be able to decode it, assuming it can read the root directory properly.
As a test to see if it's a problem specifically with 1.12, could you install one of the 1.10 versions from http://makemkv.com/download/old/ ? v1.10.6 and later should also be able to handle this disk.

Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Highest AACS version is v63 , MKB saved as C:\Users\Chris/.MakeMKV/MKB_v63_THE_GREATEST_SHOWMAN.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

Yup, that’s my bad. I thought I was on latest. Once I updated all was good!Woodstock wrote:V1.12.0 of MakeMKV can handle AACS v64, which has been out for a few months.
I'm sure we'll get reports when v65 hits stores.
