I read the sticky, but the error I received is different than the 6 posted in the OP in that topic. I've tried increasing the read retry count to more than 25, but that hasn't worked.

Here's the error I received:

Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Highest AACS version is v63 , MKB saved as C:/Users/Joshua/AppData/Local/Apps/MKB_v63_Shin_Godzilla.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc

Were there errors during the loading of the disk?

The errors you are receiving are consistent with three possibilities.

The easiest to deal with is, Is MakeMKV running with administrator privileges? Without that, the key exchange will fail, because the operating system will prevent it.

The second one is that this is a new version of AACS that MakeMKV cannot deal with yet:
Highest AACS version is v63 , MKB saved as C:/Users/Joshua/AppData/Local/Apps/MKB_v63_Shin_Godzilla.tgz
I will state, though, that AACS v63 did not seem to confuse MakeMKV 1.10.6 when I ripped a pair of disks with it 5 weeks ago, and 1.10.6 was specifically released with AACS v63 support. But you can send the file listed above to support@makemkv.com for analysis, just in case.

The other is damage or contamination in the central directory area of the disk, where the information needed to do the key exchange is stored. If MakeMKV has trouble accessing this area, the key exchange will fail.

I should send MKB_v63_Shin_Godzilla.tgz, specifically?

I've backed up this disc successfully, I don't believe it is an encryption issue.

I just noticed I don't have the newest version, I'll update and see if that helps.
