Check that MakeMKV didn't move it to the top - one of the characteristics of MakeMKV finding the "main title" is that it will be one of the first ones listed.

I thought that and assumed that title 00 was the one to rip. Imagine my surprise when watching the mkv file to find scenes jumbled up.

What is up with all these mpls files? Is it some kind of extra DRM?

For me, the title that matches the OP's source file / segment map is 322, not 321

Anyone know why?

Just looking at this disc now and I've found 00781.mpls as outlined above with the correct segment map (also appears as t322 on my disc), but...

There seems to be two versions of the movie on the disc, the one above (and all it's jumbled-up counterparts) is 23.3GB with a duration of 01:34:50

But there seems to be another version of 21.4GB with a duration of 01:24:30 (with only 19 segments instead of 20).

Unfortunately there are hundreds of playlists for this version as well with the segments all jumbled, so how do I know which is the correct one for this shorter version of the movie?

Or is this "shorter version" yet another attempt to confuse me?
