I got a question. I tried to convert the german version of KRAMPUS bluray (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3850590/).

To identify the correct playlist I opened the disc with PowerDVD and checked the playlist with ProcessMonitor (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sys ... nitor.aspx).

The playlist PowerDVD use to play the movie is 00824.mpls.

But this playlist is not shown by Makemkv after scanning the disc, only 00800.mpls is shown, I can not choose 00824.mpls to be used.

Makemkv shows that 00824.mpls is the same as 00800.mpls and therefore 00824.mpls is skipped.

Now I would like to know: Is there a way to force Makemkv to use 00824.mpls? Just to be 100% sure to use the correct playlist?

Can't answer your specific question of forcing a playlist to become available but if 800 (which I find is generally the primary movie playlist for many discs) and 824 are identical, why not just rip 800?
