Force Java-BD ?

I just scanned a BD and found MakeMKV to show dozens of mpls entries, without showing a "Main Title" identified. This is odd to me as another disc I scanned just yesterday did end up with an identified main title mpls. I noticed on the successful disc that MakeMKV was starting a Java-BD process. On this current disk, MakeMKV just says "using direct access mode" and scans the disc... no Java. I have read that "Java-BD" is what detects the correct main title... Is there any way to force Java-BD when opening a Blu-ray? The disc I am having trouble with is "Middle School - the worst years of my life". (red)
