Hi there, I am trying to rip my copy of the Zero Dark Thirty BD. There might be multiple versions out there, but I bought it when it came out. I've used MakeMKV successfully for every BR disc in my collection, but this one disc remains. Notice that I copy the entire disc structure to hard drive first, so this is not from disc, but from hard drive. This workflow has worked multiple times, but with Zero Dark Thirty I get a "failed to open disc".

Your link appears to be dead, it states "This file is no longer available." Also, I'm not going to register at the site I'm sent to just see the post; it would be best if you could highlight the error and post here.

I've successfully ripped this title a long while back. Any additional error messages? What version of MakeMKV are you using? How did you rip the file in the first place (software)? Could the file be corrupt? If you have the original disc, you may want to try ripping to an .mkv file directlyl from it as well.

Kinda tough to find a file hoster that doesn't require registration, but let's try this.
