Been having on and off issues when trying to create a mkv file. The program reads the disks OK but as soon as i click the button to create the mkv file the PC immediately crashes.

To get round this i have generally tried every different mkv version from 1.9.7 upwards and in the majority of cases this has worked. Interestingly on many of the occasions the installing of a different version of mkv causes it to doa download of the latest svq files and then all is good.

This time i am out of luck and have tried all different versions, cleaned the discs,followed the svq tips with no success.

PC crashing means something outside of MakeMKV is broken, 99% of the time. Mike will need the information from the Windows Event Viewer for the crashes to be able to track anything down.

In the end I reset the PC back to factory default and all seems fine now.
