The only difference between the two is that at about the 3:15 mark, a helicopter is flying past a building with flags hanging. In one, the sixth flag from the left is the flag of Japan, in the other it is that of South Korea. (FWIW, when the BD plays it shows the Japanese flag)

I could not rip the blu-ray. Failed on both rip and backup. No surface defects that I could see. The disc played without issue on a blu-ray player. Why does the rip fail but the player can skip over any defects?

So is this movie supported now? Sounds like it is. I have been out of town for a couple of weeks, and am just wondering if MakeMKV now works with this blu-ray...

The test is to try ripping it again - Mike doesn't announce when he issues SVQ files.

Yeah, I just wasn't sure. I have the blu-ray in my suitcase, and didn't know if I would be able to rip it when I get home in a couple of hours, or if I will end up fiddling around with it to get it to rip, or if I should just toss the blu-ray into the player and rip it at a later date...

I guess I will find out in a few hours.

Hello,

what about the German 3D-Version? I still receive the FUT error at this time. Is another dump needed?

If you have "Allow contacting web server for updates" turned on in Preferences->General, and you still get the "No FUTs" message, I would suggest sending the dump.

ok, hopefully someone else has the german-3d version, because another dump is needed. I have sended 2 dump files, latter with xxx_D2.tgz in the filename, and gave the bd back meanwhile because everyone said, 3d is not worth its buck for this movie (converted 3D). But mike asked me about _D3.tgz dump-file, which I cannot create anymore. Sry guys.

But fortunately for me, the 2D-version runs without problems and is worth its money, IMHO.

Having awful trouble with the 4K bluray of this movie just now... would not get past the initial reading of info on disc without loads of errors... had to completely unplug drive, remove disc etc multiple times before MakeMKV could successfully read info and get to the disc contents page. Drive making all sorts of abnormal weird "i can't read it" noises until now. Now reading disc and appears OK. Will be happy to finally get movie off and shelf this 4K disc!!

Still got error:

Hash check failed for file 00801.m2ts at offset 28362074112, file is corrupt.

Sounds like a bad disk, although the offset of the read is also consistent with running out out power while ripping.

How are you powering the drive?
