Hi!

I am getting these problems with 1.9.7 and the Blu-Ray: THE_LEGEND_OF_THE_NEVERBEAST

I also had this problem with other Blu-Rays (not with all) and the version 1.9.7.
Is this a new protection?

I am using a Pioneer BD-RW BDR-XD05 which is attached directly to my Mac mini 2012 and USB 3.0. I also tried it with the extra USB connection if there is to less voltage, but no change.

SCSI-Fehler - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR

It is likely some defect in or on the disk. The drive says it can not read part of it. The first thing to try is cleaning the disk, in case it is just a fingerprint causing the problem.

The Blu-Ray is new and without any fingerprint or scratch. I don't think of a defect. I can watch the film without any problem in a normal Blu-Ray player. Only ripping is not possible.

I tested it on a PC with another BD-drive (BD-RE MATSHITA BD-MLT SW-5584 1.02):
