Profile parsing error: Specified conversion filter (68:A_MS/

Post by twistedtree » Mon Dec 02, 2013 2:09 am

I'm getting an error "Profile parsing error: Specified conversion filter (68:A_MS/ACM->LPCMwavex) is not available" then the conversion fails and it leaves the BD player in a hung state. I have to power cycles and unplug the USB cable to recover. It's an LG external BD player with OSx 10.8.5. This only happens on some BD disks, but not all.

Any ideas?

Sorry to point out the obvious, but this error still exists. Even specifying the default that shipped with MakeMKV using the --profile option on the commandline fails on Mac OS X Mavericks.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, it first complains that it has a parsing error just after the version information, but seems to work later on when saving the MKV.

When MakeMKV starts, it parses ALL the profiles it finds. If one has an error, it is reported, then that profile is not included in the drop-down list of profiles.
