Subtitle issue

I watch my content on a WDTV and being hard of hearing, Subtitles come in very handy.

That said, I if I backup a movie with Makemkv I include the subs I want, the player sees the subs , but won't display them.
I am then forced to demux the PGS subs out of the original movie, and mux it back in using mkvmerge.

It then works perfectly.

Any ideas?

Enable advanced mode in Preferences, and use the "WDTV" conversion profile.
