Trouble with The Big Year Blu-Ray

There are two titles on this disc, and neither will rip. The log info for each title is below:

Just like your other post, the answer is the same. Damaged disc or failing drive. Given you now have 3 discs with issues, you're either having an awful run of bad luck, our your drive is giving out.

I've had the same issues with the last 20th century Fox releases...In Time, The Big Year and The Rebound. Sent the dump files and haven't had a response for almost a week. No issues with my drive since I managed to succeed with 10 other titles.

His log files indicate very clearly that his drive can't read the discs, or that they can read the disc and the data is corrupt.

His issues are not copy protection related.

There is no copy protection that can cause this.

(Porgy and Bess) It ain't necessarily so. Corrupt/bad sectors, that allow for playback but NOT reading, have long been included in copy prevention schemes...

You mean structural copy protection? That's found on DVDs but not Blu-ray, AFAIK - which is why e.g. MakeMKV's backup feature is BD-only, or why AnyDVD's Image Ripper is not recommended for use with DVDs but is fine for Blu-ray ripping…

My comment was a response to the general statement that did not refer specifically to Blu-ray discs (Admittedly a bit unclear on my part since the thread appears in the Blu-ray errors Sub-forum)...

If you posted the full log, there would be less confusion as it contained the line about errors during BD+ processing. Now the SVQ file is updated, this disc should work.
