I've ripped Disk 1 of the first series of the BBC's Being Human BR. On testing the MKV in VLC however, the video is missing, only the sound is there. I'm using latest beta release of MakeMKV for Windows. Any help, please
Just checked - the features files run fine - only the actual episodes are audio only. Would these be 'read only' files and how do I circumvent this?
Only audio available

VLC cannot presently decode 1080i VC-1 video.

Thanks - if I converted to another file format (say Mjpeg for argument) then would the files play?Romansh wrote:http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Being-Hum ... ray/10997/

Re: Only audio available
Yes, but you'll have a hard time finding something that can convert 1080i VC-1 (though IIRC RipBot264 should be able to).

Thanks I'll look into it

@sheetz
Hi!
I have a vague recollection of a similar situation I encountered "way back" with a U2 Blu-ray.
As an experiment, load the movie-only M2TS (or.MPLS if the movie is comprised of several joined .M2TSs) into tsMuxer - and cut one second off the beginning. Save as "Blu-ray" ("Blu-ray tab at the BOTTOM of the window)

Thanks everyone. Ripbot worked as did Any Video Converter which I used to convert MKV to mjpeg files which have very little quality loss, no sound problems and which play both in WMP & VLC
