I've got this same disc and it isn't working. I just downloaded the newest MakeMKV as well. How did you get it working?

Mate, a real noob question but how do you update or does it do it automatically? I got The Who yesterday and want it on my NAS.

There are two key distribution mechanisms that MakeMKV can use to decrypt 4K UHDs and AACS v82 blu-rays. The first is hashed keys and is built into MakeMKV. When you encounter either a 4K UHD or a AACS v82 disc that can't be decrypted, MakeMKV will automatically produce a dump file with a .tgz extension. You should email that dump file to svq@makemkv.com. Eventually a hashed key will be produced and downloaded by MakeMKV as necessary.

The other way decryption keys can be shared is via the Public KeyDB. This is separate from MakeMKV and as such, you have to download the keyDB and put it into the correct place in your MakeMKV installation for MakeMKV to be able to use it. There are tools that can help you keep it up to date. If the necessary key for your disc is not in the keyDB, you can post a link to where the dump file MakeMKV produces can be downloaded and a key can be generated and added to the Public keyDB. There are lots of details on this process in this thread: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions

Please forgive me, I am not tech savvy at all. I downloaded the zip file posted but what do I do with it. I put the whole folder in .MakeMKV but that didn't get the program to read the disc. Again I apologize for my ignorance but any assistance would be appreciated.

The file linked in the first post will not allow MakeMKV to decrypt your disc. You don't need it and can delete it.

Hopefully you read my post from Friday: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=186497#p186497

You should email the dump file your MakeMKV produced to svq@makemkv.com. If you don't want to wait for the hashed keys process, you can install the keydb and maybe the necessary key will be in there.
