up until now I have been using MakeMKV for converting *.mts files (AVCHD) from my Panasonic camera. Unfortunatelly, the latests updates of MakeMKV introduced several bugs and MakeMKV is no longer usable (the last usable version was probably MakeMKV v1.6.10).
Currently, I have problems with the sound. It seems that MakeMKV does not recognize the audio track. The output says:
Track #1 turned out to be empty and was removed from output file
