I wanted to rip a few animes and then I noticed that some BRs only had German or only Japanese as their language. The language behind it is German and/or Japanese but only one is always displayed and I've already noticed that on several BR.

Quite often, disks have different languages attached to different versions of the visible subtitles. I've had Japanese stuff where I had to re-combine copies to get both English and Japanese in the same file.

There are German and Japanese. But strangely enough, makemkv sometimes calls the Japanese synchro German and the German synchro Japanese. So it's either or, so that all synchro files are German or Japanese. Can't you adjust this directly in makemkv?
