Ripping the disc to computer fails with the following error:

I tried to attach the logfile, but it just wouldn't upload.

Attachments are broken on the board right now. But you included enough of the log to know that the problem is with the drive not being able to read the disk.

Steps to take at this point start with, if the disk is new, consider returning it for replacement.

If it isn't, cleaning can do wonders with a lot of disks. I use Pledge furniture polish, because it will clean up finger prints and wax the surface to fill in minute scratches, but you have to use a CLEAN soft cloth, either 100% cotton or a microfiber works best.
