A Merry Friggin' Christmas

#1 Post by blurayhelp » Fri Oct 31, 2014 3:21 am

I'm attempting to rip the blu-ray of A Merry Friggin' Christmas... However, makemkv seems to hang.

I'm using v1.8.14 on a MacPro with a Pioneer BD-ROM BDC-207D drive

Protection shows as AACS v50

Once I click to begin the process, it hangs at Parsing file: /AACS/MKB_RO.inf
Decrypting: Elapsed: Climbs normally... / Remaining: Climbs very slowly
Opening Blu-ray disc: Elapsed: Climbs normally / Remaining: Climbs very fast

Any suggestions from anyone?

It should "hang" for a minute or two at max. Then it will tell that the disc can't be opened, and location where MKB file dump is saved. Please send this file to support@makemkv.com .

I have the same problem here with Endless River from Pink Floyd.
I will send the tgz to the e-mail you mentioned
