Snow on the screen

Hello,

I am curious if my disc is bad or this is part of the copy protection. I have only experienced this on this particular bluray.

I see "snow" like a tv-signal with interference on the danish bluray "Kapringen". It still seems to play i full hd without any other problems. This also happens if I play directly from the disc via VLC.

There were no warnings or problems with ripping.

Some movies use static over the video for "artsy" purposes. If playing the BD directly shows it, then the MKV file would show it, too.
