NB: The reason I'm ripping a Rental Edition of a Blu-ray is because my current monitor isn't HDCP compliant - ripping to MKV then watching with VLC is my only option right now.
I've got MakeMKV set up to ignore any titles less than 60 minutes long. When I load this Blu-ray in MakeMKV it shows 9 titles, all either 24.4GB/1:32:07 or 26GB/1:38:18 in size. No matter which one I choose, when I tell MakeMKV to rip it scans for seamless segments and then, when it's supposed to start the actual copying, just causes my BR drive to grind incessantly. Output size never rises above 1.1 K.
This is the first BR I've had issues with. I have no other BR equipment to test this disc with. The disc itself appears clean and unscratched. Here's the Debug info that appears when I cancel the rips (this is for each of the 5 titles that include English audio):
