MakeMKV fatally locks computer
MakeMKV is fatally locking Windows 7 - 64bit while converting blu rays. This started with 1.7.8 and also happens with 1.7.9. The system lock occurs at different times in the conversion and does not generate and error report. Tower Heist, Battleship, and The Amazing Spiderman have all fatally locked the computer. I can play these blu rays in a blu ray player. I can also use MakeMKV to convert other blu rays successfully. I tried to upload an MKV file that was created during the lock up, but they all freeze and crash my browser. They are likely corrupt files. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution.

Hi!
Standalone players are often able to play slightly damaged or dirty discs that PC players/burners reject. Try carefully cleaning the problematic original, commercial Blu-ray discs and examining them for physical damage.
Consider returning the discs to the place of purchase in exchange for new replacements...
