getting the following error trying rip the girl with the dragon tattoo

Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' at offset '2857955328

using 1.7.4
Has anyone had any luck?

Your drive can not read the disc.

This is not a copy protection issue.

This is not a MakeMKV issue.

This is a hardware issue.

Try cleaning the disc and try again. If that doesn't work then return it for a new one.

I originally thought it was a problem with the disk, but I didn't see any scratches.

Not all imperfections on a disc are visible to the human eye.
