I have a Verbatim blue ray disk drive and I just changed to Linux from Windows. On Windows the drive worked fine however on Linux Mint, the disk drive just loads continuously with no way of stopping it.
Anyone else had this issue (I am new to linux so i may be doing something very wrong)

Ich habe das gleiche Problem, ich starte MakeMKV und es rödelt und rödelt, es passiert nichts. Ich habe Gottseidank noch einen weiteren Brenner, der geht. Ich hatte schon MakeMKV deinstalliert und wieder installiert, nichts half.
Was kann ich tun ?

Does the optical drive have a BU40N inside it? If so, the 1.00 firmware for that drive works better on linux.
