Image Difficulties

#1 Post by Tywin_Lannister » Sat Jun 14, 2025 9:45 pm

Hi Folks!
I've had sopme research on the subject on creating my own media or streaming plattform and i was wondering if this happened to anyone before.
The Film(Gangster Squad) was read and saved onto one of my hard-drives, the thing is, on some randomised moments it had some Visual Problems. Do i need to buy the full MakeMKV Software to remove such problems? It was a bluray disc. I've made another test by letting the movie Collateral gettin saved on my hard-drive via MakeMKV, which was on a DVD-Format. So does it make a difference depending on which Format you use, if you use solely the Demo Version of MakeMKV?
(If someone might have Problems due to the Grammar of mine... Im from Germany xD )

The beta version performs the same functions as the full version. If what you're asking for cannot be done with the beta version, it won't help to have the full version, other than it won't bug you about licensing every 60 days.

MakeMKV simply copies the content from (in this case) a BD to an MKV file. It doesn't reformat it.

I would recommend you to use VLC or MPV for playback, I tested with a sample that exhibited this on windows player and it was gone.
