Hi, I am encountering the following issue while ripping an UHD disc (protection AACS2.0/C v76) with a Pioneer DBR-XS07TUHD drive:
Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Downloading latest HK to /Users/pietro/Library/MakeMKV ...
Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed.
Note that the status of my LibreDrive appears as "Possible, not yet enabled"
What could be the issue? I am running on a new MacBook Pro with M2 chip, Ventura 13.4.1. Many thanks!
Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed
Re: Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed
The same issue with the other topics that cover this here on the board, especially on a "new Mac" - your system isn't being allowed to access the server.
Unfortunately, MakeMKV needs to access a site on a "forbidden server", and a lot of people's configurations won't allow that. Setting your DNS to NOT use Cloudflare often fixes this.
(which is strange, because Cloudflare is how you access the forum...)
