i am using MakeMKV under Linux Ubuntu. i have a BR disc that gives me read errors.
the title is "Licorice Pizza" from 2021 - region: europe
i tried an internal BR drive from LG and an external BR drive from Samsung.
the external drive is powered by USB Y-cable.
both drives show read errors, but at different positions.

i cant see any scratches or other visible anomalies.
the disc plays without any problems and without any visible and audio glitches on a standalone BR player.
is this a copy protection issue?
i tried DVDisaster and it shows big areas of read errors.
with the internal br drive it start showing the errors at about 1/3 of the disc.
with the external drive some read errors starts already at about 1/20.
PS.: both br drives do not do the usual head seeking noise as it normally does when a br disc has scratches or is too dirty.
