I plan on using MakeMKV to digitize my DVD collection. So far I have figured out how to rip the movie, and also how to create an ISO file, preserving the DVD-like experience.
Is this possible with BluRays? Ripping the main movie seems pretty straightforward. But for ISOs all I can find is Backup Disc and that creates a bunch of folders that I don't know what to do with. I tried a few other (expensive) programs from VideoByte that claimed they would do exactly this but the resulting ISO wasn't readable by anything I can find.
Can MakeMKV make an ISO (or something similar) of BluRay discs, effectively copying the BluRay-like experience so I can get rid of the physical discs? Or is there something else I should be using/doing with those files the Backup Disc function does?

Re: BluRay ISO
This is the third "make a BD into an ISO" message this week. Is no one reading the board?
MakeMKV isn't going to create an ISO. It will make a copy of the contents, optionally decrypted, which can be played like a BD, but it isn't an ISO.
