"No disc inserted"

Manufacturer: PLDS
Product: DVD+-RW DH-16AES
Revision: DD12
Serial number: CN0FY13D7363965U608RA02
Highest AACS version: 72

No disc inserted

This is what I get in the info section. I have tried numerous Blue Ray discs and they are all the same. I would put the log info but I do not know where to get it. It has been a few months since I have tried to rip, it worked back then. Please help.

going by the drive name its a dvd drive not bluray

Well damn, don't I feel dumb. It is a new computer with a new DVD player. Just haven't used it. I'm going back to my corner now.
