#1 Post by EvilEmpire » Fri Nov 15, 2019 1:30 am

On a Mac and have no idea which of these 4 files from the blu-ray released with the 4k:

Source file name: 00289.mpls
Segment map: 100,113,101,117,102,121,103,125,104,129,105,133,106,137,107,141,108,145,109,149,110,153,111

Source file name: 00290.mpls
Segment map: 100,114,101,118,102,122,103,126,104,130,105,134,106,138,107,142,108,146,109,150,110,154,111

Source file name: 00291.mpls
Segment map: 100,115,101,119,102,123,103,127,104,131,105,135,106,139,107,143,108,147,109,151,110,155,111

Source file name: 00292.mpls
Segment map: 100,112,101,116,102,120,103,124,104,128,105,132,106,136,107,140,108,144,109,148,110,152,111

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

If no one has or can check this from the Blu-ray packaged with the 4K, can someone point me in the direction on how to check on a Mac?

The correct English playlists for the steelbook are:
4k: 00800.mpls
Blu-ray: 00289.mpls.

It does not include the alternate video stream "Work in Progress" included on the blu-ray. I have not figured out how to get that stream.

I would appreciate it if someone could help me get the alternate video stream.

Did you ever get a response for this one? I can't figure out how to get the "Work in Progress" to show up either.

I don't have that disc, so I can't say for sure. However, if there's a second video stream (or DTS Express audio) in a title, I use the MKVToolNix tools for that. In the GUI, load up the title in question and output the second video stream into its own .mkv file. I always do this from a decrypted backup of the disc I've made with MakeMKV. I don't know if MKVToolNix will read from an optical disc directly.
