Men in Black Backup Failed

#1 Post by user404 » Sun Nov 19, 2017 7:53 pm

Help me out here; I'm not seeing the error. I was able to save off the file I needed, but I'd like to know what the problem maybe for the future. I've seen other threads on Men in Black, but no definite conclusion.

"Backup" will fail if any part of the disk is unreadable. The lack of mention of playlist or transport stream files in the log indicates to me that it didn't get to those when it hit an error.

Try this - instead of doing a back up, use the "Open" button, and try saving the individual titles to MKV files. If that succeeds, the issue is in some of the control tracks, which would make the backup function fail.

The entire BD MIB series can be ripped, so it is likely a secondary issue, such as a badly placed smudged fingerprint.
