Branched titles + Dolby Atmos = dropouts

[Meister_Proper]

In general makemkv works well with branched titles and reducing the audio skew. However, I have two movies where I do get audible dropouts in sound.

The first one is "Now You See Me 2 (2016) US":

The dropout occurs at 40:41. Only this one, the rest is perfectly fine.

Audio dropout at 4:23. Again, just this single audible dropout.

I remuxed them several times and used the latest makemkv version. Playback was on PCH A-500 PRO.
Is there any way Mike can improve on the seamless branching plus Atmos?
I don't remember having this problem with TrueHD, but I'm not sure. So it might be specific to Atmos. Anybody else noticing the same?

Another movie with this issue is "Baywatch (2017) 2in1 (US)" (ext. cut) with one audible dropout @01:20:36.
I send Mike the dump file but so far I haven't heard back from him when I asked about a status update.
I really hope that he can fix this as this is the only problem makemkv has.
